In the last three days, coach Kevin O'Connell has brought it up twice on his own.

O'Connell joked jokingly to reporters on Monday that Jefferson had "unexpectedly" taken a number of hits from Colts players.

There is undoubtedly a focus on the teams we are playing. Sometimes, those hits don't seem to be accidents at all.

In the fourth quarter on Saturday, Jefferson twice required medical assistance.

In the first incident, Colts safety Rodney Thomas hit him while he was still protected as a player in need of assistance causing what O'Connell described as a rib/chest contusion

Jefferson had to exit the game for a concussion check after being struck in the head by Colts CB Stephon Gilmore.
