Paul Simon, a Grammy Award-winning musician, will be celebrated with a performance special that will appear on CBS on December 21, 2022.“Homeward Bound: A Grammy Salute to the Songs of Paul Simon” will air 9-11 p.m.

Paul Frederic Simon, an American musician, singer, composer, and actor, was born on October 13, 1941. His career has lasted for more than six decades.  One of the most well-known songwriters in contemporary music.

Simon was raised in the Queens neighbourhood of New York City after being born in Newark, New Jersey. When they were still in their early teens in 1956.

As a kid, Simon enjoyed playing stickball and baseball. He called his father brilliant and witty, but claimed that he worked long hours and did not spend much time with his kids.

Simon  interested in jazz, folk, and blues, particularly the music of Lead Belly and Woody Guthrie. Simon composed his first song, "The Girl for Me," when he was 12 or 13.

Simon created, recorded, and made available more than 30 songs between 1957 and 1964. such as "Our Song" and "That's My Story," he occasionally teamed up with Garfunkel once more as Tom & Jerry.
